Students have an increasing number of options to get involved in the life of VCA through student clubs and organizations. High school and middle school students can be a part of the student council, an organization designed to be the voice of the student. Students at the high school level who have high academic achievement may be eligible to participate in the National Honor Society. Throughout the school year, numerous Bible studies and prayer groups meet on campus and include students in the middle and high school. The Victory Voice, the school newspaper, launched in 2011 and is written entirely by high school students. At the elementary level, students can choose to be involved in beginner or intermediate band, a group that meets at various times throughout the week.
Our students gather once a week for chapel services at both buildings. We believe chapels are a catalyst for spiritual growth. We hope that our chapels energize the faith of our students and that our discipleship program facilitates real, lasting growth. Pre-K, kindergarten, and 1st-3rd grade chapels meet at the South Campus on Wednesday mornings. Our 4th-6th grade chapel is held at the North Campus on Wednesdays at 11:30. Our 7th-12th grade chapel at the North Campus is held on Thursdays at 11:30. Parents, friends, and family are always invited to join us for chapel!
Student Prayer Group
On Tuesdays, students in grades 7-12 meet for lunch and prayer. This group is led exclusively by members of our student body.
