Mr. David Funk
David Funk has been on staff at VCA since 2019. He has been in education for 38 years. Thirty-four of those years have been spent in Christian education, as both a teacher and administrator. He has a B.A. in Elementary Education, an M.R.E. in Christian School Education, and a Specialist Degree in Educational Administration.
His professional resume includes work as a classroom teacher, building principal, superintendent, and regional accreditation commissioner for the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). He is also an ordained minister.
Mr. Funk has been married to his wife, Alicia, for 38 years. Together they have three adult sons and six grandchildren. His life’s calling and passion is “shepherding God’s sheep.”
