  • We have a weekly Chapel service where students learn about the Bible and develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our "Shine Your Light VCA!" motto promotes kindness and service, fostering a supportive community spirit.

  • Our curriculum is designed to be enriching and engaging, with a focus on hands-on learning.

Along with our curriculum we use a variety of resources such as Orton-Gillingham and small group leveled instruction to encourage strong academic growth in our students.

  • Students participate in exciting specials every week, including Music, Physical Education, Art, and STEM.

These classes allow them to explore their interests, develop new skills, and unleash their creativity.

  • We believe in individualized learning at VCA.

In addition to our dedicated teachers, we offer Resource and RTI small groups to provide targeted support to students who may benefit from additional instruction.

Likewise, we offer a K-5 High Ability Program to further challenge our advanced learners.

We strive to meet the learning needs of every child.

  • VCA is a 1-to-1 technology school, meaning every student has their own device to use for learning.

We integrate technology in a safe and responsible way to enhance learning and encourage creativity.

  • We offer engaging activities throughout the year for all our students, like our annual Spelling Bee and Math Olympics. Other opportunities become available at various grade levels. By the time students reach 5th grade they have the opportunity to participate in a variety of sports as well.

These events and activities are a wonderful way for students to showcase their learning, build confidence, and engage in friendly competition.
